im sorry but i have another problem so i saved my game and closed it then when i go to my files to open again i only see the project realism setup file then when i click on that i click next and it asks me do i wanna remove the game from my pc, i dont want to so how do i play and open the real game, pls help

Is there a possibility to compile this for other Linux distros? I would normally just use WINE/Proton but it doesn't seem to like this game much. If you can I would recommend using appimages as they are near universal so you wouldn't have to make one for every major distro, and it can store libraries if needed allowing it to be near completely portable as well.
Appimages unfortunately suffered an issue where animations just wouldn't load, tried multiple times to fix it but failed every time.
Though the next update will use a different framework and I'm pretty certain it will remove all of the current issues while also allowing any Linux distro. :)
One thing I'll clear is that the update seems to be genuinely almost finished. This is taken from the other sites, but by his own chart it's about ~98% finished, with 0.2 having roughly 350 images in it while the new update alone has 1276 currently, and will likely reach around 1300, plus over 100 more animations. This update is MASSIVE, and it seems that Mecha underestimated the amount of work they needed to do each time, or incidentally continually broadening the scope which caused a longer workflow. He's promised that the future updates will be smaller to not have such a huge wait time again. Also heed that it will be roughly three weeks after the official release for it to become free, so you should check back in July.
While what you say is true and I definitely underestimated the amount of work, like said in the replies below, it's still my fault to convince myself that these ambitious release dates are something that I can meet.
But it is also true that, at the very start of making this update, I had a lot of worry thinking that it wasn't going to be enough content to really make an update. And now, it has only proven to be way too much at once for myself.
I remember you saying some time back that you were considering staggering future updates into more frequent, smaller releases and I think for your own sake that's a great idea.
I prefer long waits with big updates because I get to forget what I've done and it feels less like a chore going through things I've already done. But I personally find if I'm creating something it's nice to have frequent checkpoints where I can think "Yeah this is working". I don't want to make assumptions about you but I think that would be a healthier approach for you.
Also, 350 images to 1300? You almost quadrupled the game size. That's an insane undertaking, and hats off to you for putting so much work in but that seems like an easy way to burn yourself out.
The update will come out when it comes out, just look after yourself 👍

Honestly, I feel like you've been postponing the release date for literally months, and I truly find it ridiculous to keep saying "Soon!" when it's in fact not soon at all. I recommend that you refrain from announcing anything and avoid raising people's hopes for nothing until the new version is entirely (more or less) done and ready to be released. It will be much more honest towards yourself, your community, and it will improve the relationship you are sharing with us in a much healthier way. Also, by doing so, we'll stop wasting our time coming on this page for nothing and stop pressuring you with these comments like mine :)
As you already know, take your time, don't pressure yourself in any way, take care of yourself, but be more honest. Thank youuuu

At this point, nothing can really be done about it for this latest update, but for Mecha, it probably is worth reflecting on how a miss of nearly a full year (it was originally scheduled for last August!) happened, and why that wasn't foreseen earlier - as I remember, the first delay wasn't announced until the week of the initial target release, and if there was this much work left outstanding, that there was no chance of making that deadline should have been known way earlier, along with there being no way that pushing out two weeks was going to be sufficient to get things working.
Things getting too ambitious as far as cast sizes and story-branching have killed more than a few games in this niche, and it seems like this is a steroidal version of that, with not only a large planned cast with multiple different choice-based paths for each character, but a whole array of different fetishes designed to be mixed and matched. Mecha, this is your game and don't let anyone, including me, tell you how to make it, but there might come a point where you need to make a hard breadth vs. depth choice about how much time and energy you have and what tradeoffs you're willing to make.
I can't go against you here, you're completely correct. The very first delay, I didn't really think much of it when posting the delay on the last day. I've realized that it was very wrong of me to do and I do genuinely apologize and for the other delays as well.
I'm very aware of how ambitious the game is, and this update will only prove that more. After it's finally done, I really do wish to find the most optimal workflow and post updates on a more timely interval.
I appreciate you taking the time to write this in a very kind manner.
Believe it or not, but every single date I've announced was said with a *mostly* confident me behind it, ambitiously thinking I could finish it within that time. I know how crazy that sounds, especially considering it has almost been a year since the first delay (that one being my most ambitious one by far). Again, not to dispose of any blame here, but I'm very much a chronic procrastinator. On top of this I also tend to be a perfectionist, which really does not work well together. So to say this update could have been done way sooner is really just a given. The bigger issue is myself, thinking I can miraculously get myself past these things.
Also, don't worry about pressuring, I've noticed I work a lot better under pressure than without.

Ik this must be annoying af, but were nearing middle of the month, update still isnt out Have you considered simply releasing what you already have? im sure it must be hard for you but this is getting kinda ridiculous with those estimations that arent met in the end to the point that im worried this update will never release because you cant admit that you simply cant finish it
It's not annoying, you're very much in your right to ask me, especially when it has taken this long, so don't worry.
I've considered doing that though I've also released a roadmap, months ago by now, that has promises listed on there and I wish to release it with those promises finished. It just wouldn't feel right to me to release it prematurely after making said promises, if that makes sense.

thus i think the text is kinda ai generative style i think so because so many time when was using ai chat stuff on different app so far kinda know how ai typing looks like kinda bad if so true but idea of side characters being ai generated is well is bad,because ok that its different from other traditional vn but not like this way thus idea of traveling in 2d map is fun,main characters are great the most sad part is that this is just new the beggining it takes long time till we get to majot stuff and big story. The current version has to install some components to allow it to run, to put it simple.
If you don't trust it, there's a virus total link on the download page that you're free to look at! In the next update this issue will also no longer exist.

What is the difference between the Windows x64 and the Windows x64 (non-fixed) versions? The only interpretation I can come up with for "non-fixed" is "bug fixes not applied", but I can't imagine why you'd be offering that for download...
That's a good question, I unfortunately didn't find a truly good name for it. The current public version of the game uses Edge to run itself. The "fixed" version has an embedded version of Edge included so that it doesn't run into any issues related to an outdated version of Edge. The "non-fixed" one doesn't include any version and simply uses the version of Edge that is installed on your system.
The upcoming version won't have this issue, luckily
Ahh, that's why the "fixed" one was so much larger. That makes sense. Until the upcoming version comes out, I'd suggest putting that brief explanaation somewhere on the game page -- ideally, just above the download links, but I don't know how much flexibility Itch gives you for that stuff.
Unfortunately yes. The current public version is limited after the intro. The dialogue itself will also specify when you've reached the end of a story.

That is a bug that unfortunately was never fixed. I recommend reloading into a save right before you end up in the cell.
